The world-famous Caramulo Motorfestival, equalled only by the Goodwood Festival of Speed, is one of Portugal’s premier events. Dedicated to classic cars and motorcycles, these specimens come to life every year and are put through their paces to the delight of expectant crowds.
The Caramulo Motorfestival combines pure competition with a set of recreational and tourist activities. They include the Historic Ramp of Caramulo, the Historic Rally Luso-Caramulo, and the Passeio Histórico Viseu-Caramulo.
The event which draws in crowds of over 40,000 punters includes the collection of cars, motorcycles, bicycles and miniatures from the Caramulo Museum, the Caramulo Automobile Fair, Classic Car and Motorcycle Rallies in Caramulo (Clubs), outdoor play activities, inflatable playgrounds, bars and chillout areas with music throughout the event and much more.
Through this immense variety, the Caramulo Motorfestival has gained the reputation as an event not only for the true automobile and motorcycle aficionados, but also for all the general public—especially for families to enjoy an unforgettable weekend in Serra do Caramulo.
This event is supported by the Caramulo Museum, Tondela City Hall, Turismo do Centro, M80 radio, RTP, Banco BPI and Jornal dos Classicos.
