The Museu do Caramulo launched this week its campaign to appeal to the IRS and VAT consignment, which allows donating part of the tax to an organization.

According to the direction of the Museu do Caramulo “this is an opportunity for all visitors and supporters of the museum to be able to make their contribution and make a difference without having to spend money”.

During the delivery of the IRS, it is possible to support a social, environmental or cultural cause by assigning 0.5% of the tax to the State, after deducting deductions. The IRS consignment has no cost to the taxpayer.

It is also possible to consign the deduction of VAT borne by the invoice requirement and deliver it to an entity chosen by the taxpayer.

The campaign was in charge of the 9 communication agency and is entitled “A little help from you at the IRS is already a classic” and the motto “Help us to maintain our historical heritage on wheels”, alluding to the cars of the Museu do Caramulo and it is based on the Benz Dreirad of 1886, one of several centenary models in the collection.

The amplification of the campaign, which will be carried out in several newspapers and magazines, will have a strong online component, thus enhancing its interaction, sharing and dissemination.

The necessary instructions for taxpayers and companies to place the Abel and João de Lacerda Foundation (entity that oversees the Museu do Caramulo) as an entity to which they intend to consign their IRS or VAT, can be consulted here.
